A domain name is the unique address for a website. Usually, it consists of a website name and a domain name extension.
It is what internet users type into a browser to get to a particular website for example: www.webuldwebs.net. It’s commonly referred to as a “web address” which is associated with a physical IP (internet Protocol) address. Without a domain name you would have to remember a specific IP address which consists of numbers and dots eg 40.91.94.165.
